We are a non-denominational church plant located in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
Our church family meets Sunday mornings at 109 West Fayette Street, which is located at the heart of Uniontown: 5 corners! You will find us in the Mill Street Square, next to the Wine & Spirits store. Our main entrance is behind the building, which is where you will also find ample parking. For handicap accessibility, please use our entrance in the front of the building which faces Fayette Street.
Welcome to The Journey! We’re a congregation of believers who follow the teaching of Jesus Christ, with a passion to reach out to all people regardless of their past or present situations.
What is a church plant? Just like you would read about the first church in the New Testament, The Journey is a non-denominational church that began as a small group meeting in homes (also known as church planting). Through God’s grace and awesome provision, we quickly grew larger and are now meeting in our third location (as we keep on growing!) on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. Our desire is to be a place where anyone can come and find the message of Jesus to be relevant and powerful to their lives regardless of their age or background.
Our facilities are not impressive, our chairs are full of sinners, and our pastor is far from perfect. However, we know that there is forgiveness and grace through Jesus Christ! Anyone who calls on His Name and decides to follow Him after asking for forgiveness will receive it!
We also know that the “church” is not a place, but a community of believers living life together. We may have a building, but it only becomes church when the people are inside.
